The game is designed for and only uses 2 cores, doesn't benefit from hyperthreading, and is extremely heavily cache bound, so as soon as the number of in game objects/units gets large enough to max out your 元 cache the game takes a very rapid FPS drop. the worst unoptimized mess I ever played without a doubt would have to be Starcraft II, in particular multiplayer. Oh! AHA! I got it! It just popped into my head. or is it just that much more of a demanding game by its nature than they expected it would be and intended for it to be? I dunno. Witcher 3 ran poorly on my system but again my system was below minimum requirements so I was lucky to play it at all, and the game did seem very well polished compared to most, and performed well on hardware it was made for.Ĭyberpunk runs terrible on my 2 year old gaming laptop and seems like it has some serious performance issues.

I can think of games that ran slow because my PC was too old to play them properly, and I can think of games that were on the slow side because of the engine the developer chose to use (ie: Subnautica using Unity and having some significant performance issues despite being one of the best games I've ever played). I'm trying to think of a game that was just horribly slow that for the tech it had etc. Jon_Irenicus_PL: What about you? What's the worst unoptimized mess of a game you have played? Hmm, just unoptimized? That's a tough one. yeah thats why it is or :P so it is cyberpukk barely an alpha when it was released

I could mention, however, that apparently GOG's offline Windows installers are extremely unoptomized. (Note that the saw won't work on you if you're weak.) (Well, technically, it's the target's DEF, not their STR, that affects whether the saw works in SaGa 1 and 2 (though SaGa 2 has it working properly), but you get the idea.)

SaGa Frontier may feel raw and unfinished in some areas, but the game does run smoothly, except for having longer loading and saving times than previous games of the series because of the hardware (and quick save mitigates the issue of save times).Īlso, are you strong? If so, then I will saw you apart with a chain saw. About all they really do have is gameplay bugs, where certain mechanics don't work as they are supposed to. The multipurpose room costs 6 titanium, but get used to packing away A LOT of titanium for the mid and late game but for now simply build a multipurpose room and add a hatch and some kind of power source (the easiest one and the only one you have by default is the solar pannel) and you will get the achievement.Dtgreene: The SaGa series, if you don't count some of the more recent remasters that apparently exist, don't have optimization problems.

after scanning it (and picking up the purple tablet inside) go to wherever it is you want to start building a base. this base has a rundown old multipurpose room attached to it and that is what you want. Go ahead and scan LITERALLY EVERYTHING ON THIS ISLAND but what you are really here for is the Degassi base in the center. On this island you will find lots of edible plants and 3 Degassi bases one on each of the mountain peaks and one near in between them accessible only to the far side of the island. If you keep heading south, eventually you will find an island that is being suspended by giant floaters which is why the island is called Floater Island.

Note, if the Aurora disappears, go back you've gone too far. Make sure to keep looking back at the Aurora so you know that you are heading away from its engines. The front end of the Aurora points North and the Engines point South) and head in that direction using the seaglide. Next point yourself South (or to make it easier, look at the position of the Aurora. First acquire a habitat builder, scanner and a seaglide. The fastest way to do this is as follows.

*** Spoiler - click to reveal *** To get this achievement you simply need to make a base.
